Dakno Gaming is a regional eSports tournament located at The 701 Coworking Space in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The Event:
Join us January 12th from 10am to 10pm for a variety of video games brought to you by Networking Specialists & Spice Pie of Grand Forks, table-top games provided by Broken Sentry Games, unlimited Spicy Pie Pizza, Coca-Cola Beverages, and more! Can't make the event? Watch live as our commentators bring the hype to you via your favorite streaming platform.
Unlimited Pizza Wristbands are on pre-sale and will be available at the event, as well as buying single tickets for pizza by the slice.
ANNOUNCEMENT: The University of Jamestown has announced that it will be bringing its Overwatch, League of Legends, and Hearthstone eSports teams to compete! This is one of just over 50 NAIA accredited eSports teams in the nation, and will be a great opportunity to show off your skills and learn about playing esports at a collegiate level. If you do not have a team but will still like to play, please email [email protected] and we will make sure to get you on one!
Join our community of competitors and casual players as we play your favorite games; all for a good cause! Proceeds for this event will benefit Evolve Grand Forks. Evolve Grand Forks aims to support a culture of entrepreneurship in our region.

There are Morning, Afternoon, and Evening tournaments. You may only participate in one tournament during each segment. The segments are below:
Morning Segment: CHOOSE NO MORE THAN ONE (1)
- Dragonball FighterZ (Xbox One Only) Singles Tournament Entry 10am - 1pm
- Overwatch (PC Only) Team Tournament Entry 10am - 2pm
- Mario Kart (Wii Only) Singles Tournament Entry 11am - 2pm
Afternoon Segment: CHOOSE NO MORE THAN ONE (1)
- Smash Bros Ultimate Singles Tournament Entry 2pm - 5pm
- Hearthstone (PC Only) Singles Tournament Entry 3pm - 6pm
Evening Segment: CHOOSE NO MORE THAN ONE (1)
- Smash Bros Melee Singles Tournament Entry 6pm - 9pm
- League of Legends (PC Only) Team Tournament Entry 7pm - 10pm
- Rocket League (PS4 Only) Team Tournament Entry 7pm - 10pm
Awards:
Awards will be provided to each tournament winner(s). PC game tournament winners will win access to The 701 Coworking by Evolve Grand Forks. At The 701, you will have access to Midco Gigabit Internet, the fastest internet in the region.
